Sarawak Money in Brunei

I managed to win the bidding for this currency the other day. I can't remember how much this one cost - in the region of at least US$50. This $1 note bears the portrait of Sir Charles Vyner Brooke, the last of the Rajah Brooke who governed Sarawak. This $1 note circulated in Brunei as well as in Sarawak. I have not found anyone who can tell me whether it is accepted as it is or whether it circulated at a discount. In the 1930s, Brunei was using the straits dollar.
